Welcome to LT Generators. These Terms of Service (“TOS”) are a legal agreement between you, the Customer, and LT Generators. By accepting our quote or allowing us to perform work on your property, you agree to these Terms.

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms,” “TOS”) carefully before utilizing services provided by LT Generators (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) including, but not limited to, using our website, receiving quotes, or contracting for generator installation and maintenance services. By engaging our services, you (“Customer,” “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms and are superseded by the contract you sign directly with the company on your specific order or service.

A. Description and Scope of Services

LT Generators provides professional generator installation and preventative maintenance services.

a.1. Installation Services

Our installation services include the physical placement of the generator unit, natural/LP gas plumbing, and electrical work as detailed in your specific service order or contract (“Service Order”).

  • Permits: The Customer is solely responsible for obtaining and paying for all necessary municipal or local electrical and plumbing permits required for the installation. The Company will not schedule installation until proof of permits has been provided.
  • Incidental Damage: Installation may require drilling holes for utility connections and moving equipment. The Customer acknowledges that incidental damage may occur to walls, ceilings, landscaping, or property during the installation process, and agrees not to hold the Company liable for such incidental damages. We recommend the Customer cover surfaces they wish to protect and remove fragile items near the work area.
  • Site Preparation: The Customer is responsible for ensuring the site is accessible and prepared (e.g., concrete pad in place, clear access path) before the scheduled installation date.

a.2. Maintenance Services

Maintenance services include routine inspections, servicing, and adjustments as required to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the generator(s), as detailed in the Service Order.

  • Included Services: Standard maintenance typically includes changing engine oil, changing engine oil filters, checking valves, inspecting air filters and spark plugs (replacement as needed), and checking all connections.
  • Additional Repairs: Any repairs or parts needed outside of the standard preventative maintenance inspection due to wear and tear, abuse, acts of nature, or improper operation will be billed separately at the Company’s current rates for parts, labor, and mileage.
  • Access: The Customer must provide timely access to the equipment and property for scheduled maintenance. The Company will typically provide advance notice (e.g., 24 hours) before arriving for a scheduled visit.

1. Our Services

We agree to install and maintain your generator(s) as described in the written proposal or invoice provided to you (the “Service Order”).

2. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Ensure the work site is safe and accessible for our team.
  • Obtain all necessary local building/electrical permits before installation begins.
  • Pay all invoices on time according to the terms specified on the invoice.
  • Follow all manufacturer guidelines for operating and maintaining your generator.

3. Payment Terms

Payment is due as outlined in your Service Order. Unpaid invoices may be subject to late fees. Orders for specific generator equipment cannot be canceled or refunded once ordered from our suppliers.

4. Warranties and Limitations

Manufacturer Warranty: The generator unit itself is covered solely by the original manufacturer’s warranty unless a wirtten contract is written is written you and the company. We are not the manufacturer.

Workmanship Warranty: We guarantee our installation and maintenance labor against defects for [e.g., 30 days] from the date of service.

Limitation of Liability: We are not responsible for indirect damages, incidental damages, or damage to landscaping/walls during the course of standard installation work. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service in question minus non refundable costs such as permit fees and similar cost incured by the company..

5. Termination

Either party may terminate service agreements with reasonable written notice. You must pay for all services rendered up to the date of termination.

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be handled in the local courts of Los Angeles County or by the company County selection.
